RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES FOR PATIENTS

FIBROMYALGIA   RESEARCH

Current research opportunities are unavailable, but two significant initiatives hope to commence new studies soon.  PC3 or positional cervical cord compression is very common not only among patients with FM or widespread pain, but is also an issue for many patients with cervical pain from degenerative cervical disk disease.  Please see www.PositionalCervicalCord.com for more information and recent articles.

The second initiative is to improve outcomes for patients with all autoimmune diseases based on research completed here and elsewhere that demonstrates significant influence by the autonomic nervous system (stress system) on rheumatic disease.  Please see Inmedix.com for more information.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS RESEARCH

Discussions are underway to prepare to study the impact of autonomic nervous system activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.  (See 2008 publication)
Further information will be posted when the study begins.
